At Hacienda Las Palmas, the lake is quite literally at
your doorstep. The distance from your bedroom to
fishing one of the greatest bass lakes of the world can
be measured in minutes. The Hacienda maintains its own
fleet of boats and has expert local guides. Our boats
include 18’ fiberglass boats, Yamaha outboard motors and
trolling motors. Also available for daily rental are
rods, reels and you can purchase the “hottest baits”
from our tackle shop. Trophy bass fishing is offered
year round at the Hacienda. The legendary Lake Guerrero
is known worldwide for the number of record-class large
mouth bass consistently caught here. The incredible
scenery and thousands of acres of flooded timber is
heaven on earth for any angler. A voluntary catch and
release program now observed by most fishermen has made
this great lake even better.
The Lodge

Built in 1985 and inspired by the famed Las Hadas
resort, Hacienda Las Palmas has no equal in this
ruggedly beautiful land. The Hacienda has been

American family since construction. The Hacienda is
located approximately 200 miles south of Harlingen,
Texas. It is a 4 hour drive from the airport by car or
a 50 minute flight by air. Charter flights are
available and we will be happy to help you with
arrangements. Other amenities include a large pool,
Jacuzzi, back-up generators, wireless internet,
satellite dish, large screen TV and a paved 3,000’
runway located one mile from the Hacienda.
