Lake Agua Milpa is located in the majestic Sierra Madre mountain range near the town of Tepic. Once inaccessible to outsiders, this rugged section of the Sierra Madre is now host to bass anglers from around the world! At 2,400 foot elevation, this 80 mile long reservoir is full of aggressive bass, many of which are in the 7 lb. range and some exceeding 11 lbs! For sheer numbers of quality bass Agua Milpa can't be beat. The lake is now open to sportfishing March - May and the month of June also offers outstanding bassin action. The climate at the lake is cooler than the other Mexico bass lakes in June so there's no need to worry about the heat.  

Lake Agua Milpa is located in the Mexican coastal state of Nayarit and is one of Mexico's newest trophy bass fisheries. The lake was stocked with Lake El Salto and Lake Baccarac largemouth bass by Billy Chapman Sr. Both of those lakes contain bass which have Florida-strain genetics.  Agua Milpa offers great bass fishing in June. With milder temperatures than other Mexico bass lakes during that time and long days, it's a great way to catch good numbers of quality Mexico bass in Summer. We have dates available so book now!
