Standard Peacock Bass Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Thursday: Fly into Manaus, Amazonas - Brazil, where our English-speaking staff will meet you at the airport and assist you while you are in town. At the airport our new, air-conditioned mini buses will transport you to the best upscale hotel in Manaus for the night (Included in the Price).

Day 2 - Friday: Next day early A.M. you will have a 5:45am wakeup call. After breakfast at the hotel, our team will transfer you from the hotel to the executive airport for the charter flight. The twin engine turbo prop charter aircraft will fly you directly to either the city of Barcelos (75 min flight) or to the city of Santa Isabel (100 min flight).

Upon arrival in Barcelos or Santa Isabel, our yacht manager will transfer you to the 125 foot luxury mother ship – your floating hotel for the next 7 days of fishing. The yacht will be docked at Barcelos or Santa Isabel. Barcelos is 350 years old and the original Portuguese capital of the Amazon. Barcelos (300 miles from Manaus) has 25,000 residents while Santa Isabel (450 miles from Manaus) has 3,500. After lunch you will enjoy a half day of fishing. The yacht will move to a new area of the river each day to enable anglers to fish new waters unless the guides determine otherwise due to fishing and water conditions.

Day 3 - Day 8 - Saturday thru Thursday: The wakeup call will be at 5:15am and breakfast will be served at 5:30am. The kitchen will offer options for breakfast as well as an option to have a packed lunch to take with you. You may also return to the yacht for lunch. At 6:15am (around sunrise) anglers are clear to go for a full day of fishing, ending at 5:45pm (around sunset).

Day 9 - Friday: A wakeup call for breakfast is scheduled for 7:00am at which time breakfast will be ready. Anglers will be transferred to the local city airport at 8:15am. The charter flight will be leaving either Barcelos or Santa Isabel heading back to Manaus, arriving Manaus 10:45am (if departing Barcelos) or 11:10am (if departing Santa Isabel). Clients can schedule a return flight to the U.S. as early as 2:00pm on Friday afternoon.
